DESCRIPTION
KINEVO 900 S is a Medical-Robots from Carl Zeiss Meditec. It is built for Medical-Assistance, Surgery, Helping. Key figures: 395 kg, 6 degrees of freedom.
The ZEISS KINEVO 900 S is a robotic visualization system for neurosurgery and other microsurgical specialties, combining a surgical microscope, 4K 3D digital exoscope visualization and a motorised robotic stand that Zeiss calls a cobotic assistant. It succeeds the KINEVO 900, adding better digital visualization, more robotics and connected-OR features in one device. Motors in all axes give XYZ robotic movement in six axes with variable speed. AutoCenter uses an AI-trained algorithm to detect surgical instruments in the live video and, at the touch of the foot control, moves the robotic arm in the xy plane to centre the field of view on the instrument tips, so the surgeon can keep both hands in the surgical site. Z-Mode moves the optics only along the optical axis to change working distance, PointLock repositions the head while keeping the point of interest centred and in focus, and PositionMemory recalls saved positions. Inertia compensation and AutoBalance make it easy to move by hand, the Park & Height Assistant avoids collisions, and a 'Hey KINEVO' voice assistant takes photos, records video, changes fluorescence modes and recalls positions. 4K 3D three-chip cameras (native 4K with HDR in top packages) feed shared 3D monitors for exoscopic work and teaching, and fluorescence modules including BLUE 400 S, YELLOW 560 and INFRARED 800 with FLOW 800 support tumour and vascular surgery. It has a 300 W xenon light source, laser autofocus, a 200-625 mm working distance, a 2 TB drive, WLAN and ZEISS Surgical Cloud connectivity, runs on 100-240 V AC at up to 1,500 VA and weighs up to 395 kg with maximum additional load.
