DESCRIPTION

The MagicDog-W is the wheel-legged member of MagicLab's quadruped family, and the trade it makes against the legged MagicDog is clear from the numbers: it gains 7-inch pneumatic tyres, five and a half more kilograms, and dramatically more terrain capability. Where the legged version manages an 18 cm step, the MagicDog-W clears obstacles of 60 cm or more and climbs slopes of 40 degrees or steeper, while still exceeding 3.0 m/s on the flat. MagicLab again claims an industry first, this time for integrated body-head motion, delivered by 17 motors — 16 for the body and one dedicated to the head. Endurance runs two to four hours on the same 8,200 mAh 29.6 V pack, and payload doubles to 10 kg. The sensor suite matches its sibling with LiDAR, dual and depth cameras, 4K HD and fisheye cameras and ultrasonics, and it adds WiFi 5, 4G and Bluetooth 5.0. MagicLab positions it for research and commercial performance, and for patrol and survey work once fitted with accessories.
