DESCRIPTION
The Linker Arm P7 is Linkerbot's commercial robotic arm, and the only complete robot in a catalogue otherwise made of hands. Seven degrees of freedom give it the redundancy a six-axis arm lacks — it can reach the same point through many elbow poses, which is what makes it useful in cluttered spaces — and each joint packs motor, driver and planetary reducer into one compact unit. The numbers are aimed squarely at lightweight embodied-intelligence work rather than heavy industry: 5.6 kg of arm carrying a 3 kg rated payload, a 1:2 payload-to-weight ratio, and a 608 mm working radius. Precision is the standout figure at ±0.043 mm repeat positioning accuracy, roughly five times tighter than the company's own dexterous hands manage. Joints turn at up to 100 rpm for high-frequency sorting, assembly and handling, and the power envelope is modest — 11 W at rest against a 258 W peak on 48 V. It talks CAN and CAN FD and works from 0 to 50 °C.
