DESCRIPTION
i-Digits Quantum is an End-Effectors from Össur. It is built for Material-Handling, Medical-Assistance, Helping. Key figures: 5 degrees of freedom.
i-Digits Quantum is Össur's premium myoelectric prosthesis for partial-hand loss, for people missing anywhere from one to five digits distal to the wrist and proximal to the knuckle joints. Each prosthetic digit is independently motorized and works alongside any remaining natural fingers, and the thumb is rotated by hand between lateral and oppositional positions. A self-contained wristband houses the batteries and microprocessor. Digits close until they meet an object, so the hand conforms to its shape. Up to 32 grips are available, chosen by gesture control (moving the hand in one of four directions), muscle triggers, app Quick Grips or proximity Grip Chips, and Vari-Grip, Auto-Grasp and a speed and strength boost of up to 30% are set through the Biosim and My i-Limb apps. Each device is custom-built for its user.
