DESCRIPTION
i-Digits Access is an End-Effectors from Össur. It is built for Material-Handling, Medical-Assistance, Helping. Key figures: 5 degrees of freedom.
i-Digits Access is Össur's entry-level myoelectric prosthesis for partial-hand loss, replacing from one to five digits for people with hand absence distal to the wrist and proximal to the knuckle joints. Independently motorized digits work alongside any remaining natural fingers and close until they meet the object, conforming to its shape, while the thumb is rotated by hand between lateral and oppositional positions. It offers up to 12 grips, selected by muscle triggers or as Quick Grips in the app, and a self-contained wristband houses the batteries and microprocessor. Each device is custom-built and is set up with the Biosim and My i-Limb apps.
