glassROBOT pro is hyCLEANER's cleaning robot for large glass surfaces such as glass roofs, assembled without tools from seven lightweight modules. The operator controls it by radio remote from a safe distance, AutoDrive lets it clean the surface by itself, and edge detection stops it automatically at the edge. hyCLEANER cites its use on the curved glass roof of Arnhem Central Station in the Netherlands. Variable brush sizes and an offset arrangement give up to 2.40 m of cleaning width and 1,100-2,400 sq m per hour, with brushes turning at about 400 rpm, no chemicals and about 0.5 l of water per sq m. The machine is about 1,380 x 1,195 x 415 mm and 70 kg (up to 105 kg depending on equipment), drives at about 2.2 km/h and runs up to 3 hours on a 36 V battery, and it manages its own hose for up to 100 m.
