The Factory Shuttle FS400 is Neumaier Industry's compact under-ride transport AGV, built on a standardised modular principle so it can be configured to each customer's processes and load carriers. It has a two-way drive/steering system, reaches 1.2 m/s, and its electric lifting gear raises loads 100 mm, with forks or conveyor superstructures as alternative load-handling devices. Payload versions range from 400 kg to 3,000 kg. It navigates by geo/contour navigation (other or hybrid navigation possible), runs on a LiFePO4 battery with automatic (optionally inductive) charging, and carries a PL-d laser scanner in the main direction of travel plus a bumper for reversing. Grammer uses five FS400s in three shifts to supply production lines in Zwickau, called up by operators from touch displays.
