Schauer ENRO manure robot (slatted floors)

DESCRIPTION

ENRO is an Agricultural-Robots from Schauer Agrotronic. It is built for Agriculture, Cleaning, Livestock barn automation. Key figures: 450 kg.

ENRO is Schauer Agrotronic's autonomous manure robot for slatted concrete floors in cattle barns. It drives the walking alleys on its own and scrapes manure and solids through the slats, improving claw and udder hygiene - especially important for farms with automatic milking - and reducing ammonia emissions. At under 41 cm high it passes beneath partition gates, its 450 kg weight and lug-profile wheels keep slip to a minimum, and a pendulum axle follows uneven floors. Routes are drawn and simulated on a PC instead of being taught in the dirty area, and the robot finds its way by wall following and dead reckoning. Two electric motors driven from a 24 V, 60 Ah battery move it at 0.18-18 m/min with a 1.1 m clearing width; it measures 1,100 x 1,200 x 400 mm, is built to IP65 and returns to its charging station with battery management. A Schauer Cloud IoT box adds status queries, push messages, live route display and remote service, and the robot can be driven by smartphone remote control without entering the animal area.
