DESCRIPTION
DRIVE 5 is an Industrial-Robot from IMS Robotics. It is built for Cleaning, Inspection, Remote. Key figures: 27 kg.
The DRIVE 5 is a pneumatic cutting robot developed for main sewer work in pipes from DN 150 (lined) to DN 400, reaching up to 100 metres into the line. Its slim carriage has a minimum outer diameter of 122 mm, so it also fits lined DN 150 pipes, and its milling arm rotates electrically through 440 degrees with a servo-pneumatic stroke of about 200 mm to remove deposits and reopen laterals. A pneumatic pressure bar holds the carriage for stability and traction, internal pressure monitoring keeps moisture out, and an integrated colour camera with LED lighting and camera cleaning shows the cutting point. It is run from a PLC control with touchscreen, an HDMI display holder and two multifunction joysticks, fed from an electric cable reel with a deflection boom. The carriage measures about 1070 x 190 x 175 mm and weighs 27 kg.
