The DJI Mini 5 Pro is DJI's compact folding camera drone and, by DJI's account, the first mini camera drone near 250 g with a 1-inch image sensor. The 50 MP 1-inch CMOS camera (24 mm equivalent, f/1.8) records 4K/60fps HDR with up to 14 stops of dynamic range and 4K/120fps slow motion, adds a 48 mm medium-tele mode, and sits on a 3-axis gimbal that rotates for true vertical shooting. Omnidirectional binocular vision, a forward-facing lidar and a downward infrared sensor provide obstacle sensing, including in low light, and ActiveTrack keeps subjects in frame. It weighs about 249.9 g, flies up to 36 minutes on the standard 2,788 mAh battery (52 minutes with the Intelligent Flight Battery Plus, not sold in Europe), reaches 19 m/s, resists winds of 12 m/s and links to the controller over O4+ transmission at up to 20 km (FCC). It has 42 GB of internal storage, is EU C0 class and operates from -10 to 40 C. DJI launched it on 17 September 2025 at EUR 799 in Europe.
