DESCRIPTION

DJI Air 3 is an Aerial from DJI. It is built for Filming, Photography, Aerial photography and filmmaking. Key figures: 0.7 kg, 46 min runtime, price $1,099–$1,599, released 2023.

The DJI Air 3 is a mid-size folding camera drone and the first in DJI's Air line to carry two primary cameras with matching 1/1.3-inch, 48 MP sensors: a 24 mm-equivalent wide-angle camera (f/1.7) and a 70 mm medium tele camera (f/2.8). Both shoot 4K HDR video at up to 100 fps, and both support vertical 9:16 shooting, so creators can switch framing in the air without changing aircraft. It weighs 720 g, flies up to 46 minutes on a 4,241 mAh, 62.6 Wh battery and reaches 21 m/s (19 m/s in the EU). Omnidirectional vision sensing with APAS obstacle avoidance, waypoint flight, cruise control and advanced return-to-home handle autonomy, and DJI's O4 video transmission links it to the controller at up to 20 km (FCC). It resists winds up to 12 m/s, operates from -10 to 40 C and is EU C1 class. DJI launched it on 25 July 2023; the Air 3S followed in 2024.
