APP-HLC-UV-01 is DF Automation & Robotics' UV disinfection robot, a tower of eight UV-C lamps mounted on its Qube mobile base, developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to disinfect rooms without exposing staff. The lamps emit 254 nm UV-C with 440 W input and 168 W radiated output over 360 degrees, giving about 1,500 µW/cm² at 0.5 m and 850 µW/cm² at 1 m, so a 3-log (99.9%) inactivation takes about 3 minutes at 0.5 m and 6 minutes at 1 m. For safety a 3D depth camera with about 10 m range shuts the lamps off and sounds an alarm when it detects motion, 360-degree RGB LED lighting signals status, and the lamps can be switched remotely by RF switch or Wi-Fi. The robot measures 800 x 500 x 1,460 mm, and a 25.6 V, 40 Ah LiFePO4 battery powers the lamps at full power for about 1.5 hours and recharges in about 2 hours, by cable or dock.
