DESCRIPTION
Aito L is an Industrial-Robot from Aitonomi AG. It is built for Material-Handling, Autonomous tugging of pallet semi-trailers between site locations.
Aito L is Aitonomi's autonomous transport system for pallets: a fully autonomous electric towing vehicle that pulls smart semi-trailers on industrial sites. Automated coupling and decoupling lets the tractor change trailers within five minutes, automatic pallet recognition and automated load securing start the transport as soon as the last pallet is loaded, and automated charging through a pantograph system enables 24/7 operation. The vehicle navigates with the in-house Aitonomi AutoPilot, which the company says drives vehicles with payloads of up to 50 tonnes and is verified in 24/7 operation on customer sites, and it communicates automatically with traffic lights. The semi-trailer has been certified by DEKRA. Aitonomi presented its autonomous industrial truck in 2022, and commercial-vehicle supplier JOST, which intensified its partnership with Aitonomi in 2024, describes the offer as autonomously driving electric tugs with smart semi-trailers.
