Zalpha ARV (autonomous robot vehicle) is DF Automation & Robotics' mobile manipulator: an extended Zalpha AMR that carries a Universal Robots collaborative arm, offered as model Zalpha-E-TB-03 for the UR3, UR5 or UR10 cobot, so a single robot can drive between stations and pick, place or tend machines on arrival. The platform carries 300 kg, is 550 mm wide with a load surface 820 x 550 mm at 203 mm from the ground, and drives at up to 1 m/s on a two-wheel differential drive using bottom-mounted laser natural-feature navigation. A 25.6 V, 130 Ah LiFePO4 battery gives about 10 hours of operation and recharges in about 2 hours, and the robot is programmed with DF's NavWiz software and coordinated with DFleet.
