The MAX-100-2.25-P is MABI Robotic's most compact 6-axis high-precision industrial robot and the basis of the MAX series. It carries 100 kg with a 2,244.5 mm work envelope and reaches stiffness equal to three times its payload, so it can be used for both additive and subtractive manufacturing. The Precision variant comes from the factory with secondary encoder technology on all axes (29-bit direct measuring system), giving pose accuracy of 0.15 mm, pose repeatability of 0.05 mm and multi-directional pose accuracy of 0.02 mm - machine-tool precision with the flexibility of a robot. A Basic variant is available without secondary encoders. It is driven by a Siemens SINUMERIK ONE CNC with integrated CAx and offline programming, so it is programmed in familiar G-code without expert knowledge. The robot weighs 1,150 kg without its controller, has a 1,250 x 750 mm footprint, is rated IP65, runs on 380-480 VAC and works from +5 to +45 C. It can be extended later with a MAX linear rail or a MAX machining table.
