Estun Codroid C05-U

The C05-U is the Estun Codroid torso without legs: the same two 7-degree-of-freedom arms and sensor head, mounted on a height-adjustable pedestal on castors. Estun Codroid calls it a handy adaptive robot, and the idea is a two-armed worker you wheel to a bench, lock down and leave in place, rather than a machine that walks the factory itself. Working height runs from 138 to 168 cm measured to the top of the head, adjusted by hand over a 300 mm range, and the robot weighs 32 kg without its base. Each arm reaches R550 mm and lifts 5 kg excluding the hand, weighing 8.5 kg or less itself. The base is a movable frame that takes an optional counterweight; the company states it is stable and will not tip once locked. It runs from a 220 V 10 A supply on a 3 m cable, peaking at 1,500 W. The back panel carries three Ethernet ports, HDMI, two USB 3.0, an emergency-stop connector and a 30 mm through-hole for customer cabling, and communication is EtherCAT and UDP with open slave configuration — the detail that matters if you are fitting it into an existing line. Head, arms and hands are shared with the CODROID 02 and the mobile C05-L: about 2 kg of head with manual pitch from -25 to +10 degrees, optional rotary neck joints, an optional ToF head camera and voice module, and optional five-finger hands with tactile sensing.
