DESCRIPTION

The YMBot Type C2 is the most ambitious machine in Yunmu's range on paper: the company claims it is currently the first full-state humanoid robot in China to combine bionic bipedal walking, dual 6-degree-of-freedom arms, simulated skin, dexterous hands and fine expression drive all at once. The degree-of-freedom count reflects that combination — 65 to 73 overall, of which 26 to 34 are in the face alone, which is what makes genuine expression rather than a fixed mask possible. It stands about 175 cm and weighs about 55 kg, and its appearance is customisable with a highly simulated human-like face, offered with licensed character IPs. Yunmu shows it costumed as historical Chinese figures and as Father Christmas, which is exactly the cultural-tourism market it targets: museums, scenic spots, exhibition halls and themed retail. Underneath the skin it speaks CAN Bus and EtherCAT, is compatible with ROS2 and ships a URDF model for secondary development, and it holds unlimited-turn conversation through a large language model.
