DESCRIPTION
WUBA Q5 Lightweight Patrol Robot Dog is a Security from WUBA Intelligent Technology. It is built for Inspection, Monitoring, Campus and building security patrol. Key figures: 30 kg, 60 min runtime.
This is WUBA's light security dog, and at 30 kg it is built for places its 75 kg siblings would be overbearing: campuses, building interiors, parks and perimeter paths. It runs on a WHEEL-LEGGED configuration — wheels at the end of articulated legs — which is what lets it reach 3 m/s, the fastest of the patrol machines, while still climbing 30-degree gradients and 16 cm steps. It covers roughly 4 km in about an hour on a 48 V system, working from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. WUBA sells it in two configurations that differ by sensing rather than chassis: both the SE and the Ultra carry integrated control and edge computing, voice intercom, network communication, laser positioning and personnel tracking, but the SE gets a visible-light stabilised gimbal while the Ultra gets a tri-spectral one, and the Ultra alone adds RTK high-precision positioning and a surround-view module. WUBA is explicit about the consequence: thermal imaging is exclusive to the Ultra, and the SE, lacking RTK, may suffer performance attenuation outdoors. It comes in police blue and white or neutral silver and white.
