DESCRIPTION
VIATRIX is ULS Robotics' first consumer-grade exoskeleton, and the engineering that distinguishes it is the hip. A floating hip joint mechanism the company calls FLOAT 360, paired with its leg motor design, lets the wearer do things exoskeletons normally prevent — full splits and deep squats — instead of being locked into a walking plane. It weighs 3.0 kg without battery and soft pack, folds to 400 by 400 by 270 mm, and delivers 46 N·m across both legs from a proprietary automotive-grade servo motor whose chips ULS credits for millisecond-level response. Two modes cover opposite problems: an AI-adaptive mode that assists hiking, walking, running and cycling, and a resistance mode that adds load for downhill control and fitness training. Each replaceable lithium battery is good for up to 25 km, and swapping one takes seconds, which is the company's answer to range anxiety. It works from -20 °C to 65 °C.
