DESCRIPTION

The VertiDrive V400 is VertiDrive's newer magnetic crawler platform for enclosed ultra-high-pressure water blasting and washing. A closed blast can with a self-rotating cross of up to 16 M10 nozzles strips coatings at up to 3,000 bar and 40 l/min over a 400 mm width, averaging about 45 m2 per hour, and with the VertiDrive skid-mount vacuum system it collects the waste water and leaves the surface dry and free of flash rust. Magnets with up to 300 kg holding force, adjustable from 4 to 12 mm, carry the 88 kg robot and up to 150 kg of payload upside down, vertically or horizontally at up to 5 m/min, and it keeps working in winds up to 50 knots.\nTwo 315 W drive motors run on 70 V DC from an IP66 control box; the robot itself is IP65, it is driven from a Hetronic Nova XL remote up to 100 m away over a 50 m umbilical (extendable to 100 m), and it works from -20 to +35 C, or +50 C with the cooled control box.
