DESCRIPTION
VertiDrive M3 is a Cleaning-Robots from BlastOne. It is built for Cleaning, Surface preparation: abrasive blasting, UHP waterjetting and washing of steel.
The VertiDrive M3 is a remote-controlled magnetic crawler that removes coatings, corrosion and contamination from large steel surfaces such as ship hulls and storage tanks. Permanent magnets hold it on horizontal, vertical and overhead steel while a multidirectional swing arm sweeps an abrasive, high-pressure or ultra-high-pressure blast nozzle in a consistent arc up to 1,500 mm wide, covering up to 60 m2 per hour - about eight times faster than manual blasting. It comes apart in minutes to pass through a 24-inch manhole into tanks, is available in electric, pneumatic and ATEX Zone II versions, and converts into the closed-blasting M4 with a conversion kit. Operators control it wirelessly from a distance.
