DESCRIPTION

The VertiDrive M7 (M7.1) is a compact magnetic crawler robot for large-scale blasting of ship hulls, storage tanks and other steel structures. Permanent magnets let it drive on horizontal, vertical and overhead surfaces - even upside down - and a multidirectional swing arm sweeps a 1,500 mm blast pattern, covering up to 60 m2 per hour and doing the work of about three blasters. Its blast, HP/UHP hydroblasting and washing tools are interchangeable; a narrower wheelbase and smaller working radius than the M3 suit tight spaces, it runs on 70 V DC motors, and it is controlled wirelessly so operators stay out of harm's way.
