DESCRIPTION

Fori Automation's Tugger and Dock N' Lock AGVs are high-capacity automated tow vehicles designed to replace forklifts or manned tug vehicles for material handling. The bi-directional Tugger tows payloads of up to 35,000 lbs and can be upgraded to a Dock N' Lock, which connects to carts automatically and carries up to 6,000 lbs; the platform is designed to work with customers' existing cart and hitch designs, reducing or eliminating cart modifications. It travels at up to 200 ft per minute on magnetic bar, tape or inertial guidance with +/- 0.5 in positioning repeatability, runs on a 48 VDC supply with lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries and uses a PLC-based control system with onboard safety scanners and bumpers.
