DESCRIPTION

TRI Boiler Macro Inspection Drone is an Industrial-Robot from TRI Jitai Intelligence. It is built for Inspection, Scanning. Key figures: 1.6 kg.

The confined-space inspection drone is TRI Jitai's answer to the parts of a furnace a wall-climbing robot cannot reach quickly. It flies inside the boiler — dark, metal-enclosed and dusty — so that inspectors do not have to climb into high-altitude areas of the furnace at all. It is small and light: 460 x 460 x 360 mm and 1.6 kg at standard take-off weight, 1.8 kg maximum, flying 18 to 20 minutes per battery with packs swapped between flights. The defining feature is the 360-degree quasi-spherical collision protection frame, which lets the aircraft bounce off structure rather than be lost: TRI rates it as effective for long-term operation at 0 to 3 m/s and good for fewer than three impacts at 3 to 5 m/s. Flight speed is limited to 0-1 m/s in operating mode and 0-3 m/s in fixed-point mode, with an extreme operating range of 1 to 100 metres. Imaging is a 3840 x 2160 camera at 30 fps with 4,000 lumens of follow-up LED lighting, enough to work in a completely dark cavity. It hovers stably for close inspection of suspected points, transmits video to a ground station in real time for online troubleshooting, and exports data analysis reports. TRI uses it to assess burner nozzle deformation from heat, ash accumulation and coking, and deformation, corrosion, ash and coking on heating-surface tube walls, generating a defect list in the background.
