DESCRIPTION

Sidra LEG is a Medical-Robots from EGZOTech. It is built for Medical-Assistance, Rehabilitation, EMG-driven robotic physiotherapy.

Sidra LEG is EGZOTech's robotic device for lower-limb neurological and orthopaedic rehabilitation, which the company calls the world's only two-drive rehabilitation robot with synchronised electrostimulation and electromyography-triggered motion. Its dual drive moves knee flexion/extension and ankle plantar/dorsiflexion separately or synchronised into a functional movement pattern, with EMG-triggered assisted movement (with or without simultaneous electrostimulation), 4-channel electrostimulation synchronised with movement, 4-channel electromyography, isokinetic (CAM) and passive (CPM) training, and active-resistive or active-assisted exercise. It treats neurological patients with spinal cord injuries, demyelinating diseases, stroke or lower-limb paresis after long immobilisation, and orthopaedic patients after hip, knee and foot surgery, joint sprains and injuries, endoprosthesis, tumour operations or arthritis, including postoperative prevention of thromboembolic complications and keeping range of motion in intensive care. It can be used in the training area or at the patient's bedside.
