ScanRobot ® 2.0 MDS is a Service-Robots from TREVENTUS. It is built for Analysis, Data Collection, Scanning.
The ScanRobot 2.0 MDS is Treventus's automatic book scanner. It turns pages by itself and captures up to 2,500 pages per hour, with a semi-automatic weightless mode for material that needs a lighter touch. Its capture system is patented and built around prism technology and a 60-degree V-shaped book cradle - the smallest opening angle on the market for an automatic book scanner, which Treventus offers as the reason it can digitise bound volumes without overstressing the spine. Single-scan technology handles covers, folded maps and loose pages. The machine is a closed system, so it is independent of ambient light, and has only one mechanical moving part. Process monitoring and double-sheet control run during scanning, and it ships with a PC workstation, monitor and keyboard plus image-processing software with real-time output. Treventus states it is ISO compliant, designed for 24/7 use and sold in more than 60 countries.
