DESCRIPTION

Robisuke is a conversation robot from Waseda University's Humanoid Robotics Institute, developed in the Perceptual Computing Laboratory of Prof. Tetsunori Kobayashi, whose work centres on a multi-modal man-machine communication interface suited to ordinary daily-life conversation rather than to command-style input. Robisuke was one of three institute robots invited to demonstrate at the "Robots!" exhibition in Lille, France, held at the Tri Postal from December 2003 to March 2004 while Lille was Cultural Capital of Europe, alongside iSHA and the flutist robot WF-4.
