Brooks PreciseFlex 3400 collaborative robot

DESCRIPTION

PreciseFlex 3400 is a Collaborative-Robot from Brooks Automation. It is built for Material-Handling, Pick-and-place, Electronics test and handling, machine tending, kitting, lab automation. Key figures: 25 kg, 3 kg payload, 588 mm reach, 4 degrees of freedom.

The PreciseFlex 3400 is a four-axis collaborative robot for electronics test and handling, machine loading and unloading, small-parts handling, kitting, storage and retrieval, indoor farming, lab automation and mobile applications that need a bit more payload than the PreciseFlex 400. Like the rest of the family it has horizontally articulated main axes on a tall Z column (400, 750 or 1,160 mm), giving a cylindrical work envelope that reaches into racks, shelves and stacked machines. It carries 3 kg, reaches 588 mm (666 mm with an IntelliGuide s23 gripper), moves at up to 1,500 mm/s horizontally and repeats to +/-0.09 mm at the tool flange. A collaborative linear rail extends reach by up to 2 m. The controller is built into the base, it draws 100-250 W (a DC option suits mobile robots), runs below 50 dB(A), has two air lines and end-of-arm I/O for tooling, and weighs 25-35 kg. Brooks quotes an MTBF of 125,000 hours.
