Polaris Forklift AGV is an Industrial-Robot from AGVE. It is built for Lifting, Material-Handling, Pallet-Transportation. Key figures: 1200 kg payload.

Polaris is AGVE's first standardised forklift AGV: a laser-guided counterbalance forklift built on the same technology platform as the company's custom vehicles, but with a fixed base design, selectable options and shorter lead times. It picks and drops pallets directly from the floor or onto conveyors and copes with uneven or irregular loads, carrying up to 1,200 kg (centre of gravity 650 mm) and lifting from 50 to 1,635 mm on an electric ball-screw simplex mast. A navigation laser on top of the mast scans reflectors around the site for precise real-time positioning. It drives at up to 1.5 m/s forward and 1 m/s in reverse on a vertical AC drive with DC steering, needs about a 3.5 m aisle, and is protected by three safety laser scanners (two front, one rear), four emergency stops, a top-down scanner and warning lights. Power comes from 48 V lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries with automatic charging at up to 7 kW. A Linux-based touch display with a role-based interface can be branded with the customer's logo and colours, and the vehicle is run through AGVE's Smoova web-based fleet manager. Options include battery and charger types, web cameras, safety bumpers, Bluespot and Blueline indicators, colours and service packages.
