DESCRIPTION
The PhyArm is a 7-degree-of-freedom robotic arm assembled entirely from PHYBOT's own PhyArc cycloidal joint modules, and that construction is the whole point of it: every joint is freely definable, so the arm can be reconfigured for a different reach, torque or footprint by swapping modules rather than redesigning the machine. As shipped it spans 1,000 mm, weighs 9 kg in aluminium alloy, and carries 2 to 5 kg depending on configuration — a light, high-reach arm rather than a heavy industrial one, and at 9 kg light enough to move by hand or mount on a mobile base. It folds to 500 x 110 x 400 mm for transport. The reference build shown by PHYBOT combines four PhyArc 68 modules, two PhyArc 78 and one PhyArc 102, and the arm runs on a 24 to 72 V supply over a CAN FD bus. PHYBOT sells it ready to control and use with complete development documentation, positioning it for research and education, product integration, collaborative machining and flexible assembly rather than as a fixed-purpose industrial cell.
