DESCRIPTION

The PHYBOT M1 is the company's high-performance general-purpose humanoid, and its design brief is unusually blunt about the job: born for work, built for heavy duty. It stands 1,760 mm and weighs no more than 67 kg, yet carries 10 to 20 kg across both arms and over 50 kg on its back — a load-to-weight ratio that puts it in the material-handling class rather than the demonstration class. Underneath is PHYBOT's own joint hardware, with a peak joint torque of 830 N·m, and a body of more than 32 degrees of freedom split as 7 per arm, 7 per leg, 2 at the waist and 2 in the head, including an ankle and a toe joint that most humanoids leave out. Endurance is handled by a pair of hot-swappable 9 Ah batteries on a 72 V bus giving over two hours per charge, and a single pack can be exchanged in about 15 seconds, so a shift does not stop for charging. Control runs on two independent computing modules, an Intel Core i7 alongside an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, with body control and external communications kept on separate channels so a network problem cannot destabilise the machine. PHYBOT trains it with reinforcement and imitation learning in simulation and transfers to the real robot, and fits it with a high-dynamic stereo camera, 3D LiDAR and a 9-axis IMU.

FEATURES

  • 1,760 x 516 x 228 mm standing size at no more than 67 kg
  • More than 32 total degrees of freedom, comprising 7 per arm, 7 per leg, 2 at the waist and 2 in the head, with ankle and toe joints
  • 830 N·m maximum joint torque from PHYBOT's own self-developed joints, control and power systems
  • 10 to 20 kg double-arm dynamic load and more than 50 kg carried on the back
  • 575 mm arm length and 925 mm leg-and-foot length
  • Dual 9 Ah hot-swappable batteries on a 72 V bus giving over 2 hours per charge, with a single-battery swap in about 15 seconds
  • Independent dual communication loop separating body control from external communications for safe collaborative operation
  • Twin computing modules pairing an Intel Core i7 with an NVIDIA Jetson Orin NX, on self-developed control and power-management mainboards
  • High-dynamic stereo camera, 3D LiDAR and 9-axis IMU
  • High-computing-power expansion chip
  • Motion policies trained by reinforcement and imitation learning with sim-to-real transfer
