DESCRIPTION
PATORO is a Mobile-Robots from ROBO-HI. It is built for Inspection, Monitoring, Patrol.
PATORO is ROBO-HI's autonomous security patrol robot, a compact robot that patrols on its own at walking pace through offices, shopping centres, building interiors and neighbourhoods, communicating with people through an expressive face and voice. It perceives its surroundings with all-round RoboVision cameras and a 3D LiDAR, and its front RoboVision stereo camera measures depth and detects obstacles; cameras on all four sides feed ROBO-HI's cloud system for remote monitoring and remote driving, and a blue rotating beacon on its head signals that it is on patrol or that something is wrong. A night-vision camera and an infrared camera for heat detection help it spot intruders after dark.\nIt records video, detects noise and abnormal sounds, can issue warnings and detect fire, and can alert police or a security company; people can also summon it by smartphone, for example to escort them at night, with QR-code identification, and it can wait and charge at a store. It has passed the Robot Delivery Association's safety review for public-road use. At 66.3 cm wide, 96.2 cm long and 108.9 cm tall - the same body as DeliRo, and the most compact in the line-up - it fits elevators, security gates and supermarket aisles.
