DESCRIPTION
Hobbs 3, marketed in China as Xiaonuo, is Noetix's half-body bionic robot and the company's first machine with 32 active degrees of freedom in that form — 40 x 30 x 60 cm and 10.5 kg, of which the head alone is 2.8 kg. Its skin is platinum silicone with what Noetix calls wax-figure realism, and the high joint count concentrates in a head capable of precise micro-expression simulation and lip-sync to speech. Two RGB cameras sit in the eyes while a touchscreen and a third RGB camera are embedded in the chest, alongside a linear microphone array and dual-channel speakers. Actuation mixes linear and linkage drives, the head attaches magnetically with snap-locking for lossless detachment, and an AI large language model drives conversation that Noetix positions as emotionally expressive rather than merely fluent.
