IBAK MicroGator electric cutting robot

DESCRIPTION

MicroGator is a Mobile-Robots from IBAK. It is built for Construction, Material-Handling, Inspection. Key figures: 55 kg.

MicroGator is IBAK's electric cutting robot for trenchless repair of main sewers, used from DN 200 (relined) upwards with a working range of up to 150 m. The water-cooled cutter works with a CutterCam, front and rear observation cameras and lens cleaning, and the operator steers it from a vehicle control station with two joysticks. IBAK notes low noise, which allows night work. The robot is 104 cm long (72 cm rigid), weighs 55 kg and travels at up to 15 m/min, with a 400-degree rotary module and 200 mm of lift. Beyond cutting it can set top hats and sleeves, grout, and carry an ORION camera for inspection. IBAK's case reports describe the contractor GMB rehabilitating more than 45 km of sewer with it in the Netherlands and Kuchler reconnecting 500 house connections in Ulm.
