DESCRIPTION
Mecabot 2 is an Educational-Robots from Roboworks. It is built for Development, Navigation, Research. Key figures: 6.1 kg, 480 min runtime, price $3,639–$6,937.
Mecabot 2 is Roboworks' entry ROS robot for education and research, a compact double-deck metal chassis on four 100 mm mecanum wheels that can drive sideways and in any direction indoors. It carries an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano or NX ROS computer, an LS M10P LiDAR with a 30 m range and an Orbbec depth camera, so students and developers can work on mapping, navigation and vision out of the box. The 413 x 405 x 191 mm, 6.1 kg robot carries up to 15 kg at speeds up to 1.2 m/s and runs about eight hours unloaded on a 24 V 6.1 Ah battery. The double deck adds mounting space, the 2S/AC versions add an automatic charging dock, and it ships with ROS 2 Humble, Roboworks' MiROS visual DevKit and tutorials. Prices run from US$3,639 to US$6,937 depending on computer and charging options.
