DESCRIPTION

MATRIX-3 is a Ground from Matrix Robotics. It is built for Inspection, Monitoring, Transport. Key figures: 65 kg, 240 min runtime, 15 kg payload, 33 degrees of freedom, price ¥580,000, released 2026.

MATRIX-3 is the flagship general-purpose humanoid robot from Matrix Robotics, launched in May 2026 as the company's third generation. It stands 170 cm, weighs 65 kg and carries 33 full-body degrees of freedom, walking at up to 3.9 km/h and lifting 15 kg with both arms. Its defining hardware is a set of next-generation linear joints built on domestic planetary roller screws — 5,000 N peak thrust at 1.4 kg per unit, a thrust density of 3,570 N/kg — paired with humanoid musculature and a 3D bionic fabric skin that integrates multi-dimensional tactile sensing for safe human contact. The MATRIX HAND adds 27 degrees of freedom through tendon-cable and motor hybrid actuation, validated over 8,000 hours of endurance cycling. Perception combines stereo vision, a fisheye camera, torque sensing and an IMU, processed by an NVIDIA AGX edge module with an optional Thor upgrade rated at 2,000 TOPS, and the WAVE physical-world foundation model supplies zero-shot generalisation across tasks. A 1.8 kWh 13S lithium pack delivers four hours of operation and fast-charges in 20 minutes.
