DESCRIPTION
MATRIX-1 is Matrix Robotics' next-generation AI humanoid built for real-world task automation — a 180 cm, 67 kg full-size biped driven by 55 in-house MPA 3.0 actuators with a peak torque density of 196 Nm/kg. Each arm carries 10 kg, and its third-generation five-fingered dexterous hand offers 22 degrees of freedom with tactile sensing. Perception runs on eight onboard RGB cameras backed by LiDAR and ultrasonic obstacle detection, processed by an eight-core computer with integrated GPU on a real-time operating system, and a vision-language model handles visual reasoning alongside natural-language voice interaction. A 2.28 kWh custom battery pack gives about five hours of operation and recharges in 45 minutes. Within the company's line-up MATRIX-1 is positioned as the pioneer of interactive scenarios — a guide and interaction robot — ahead of the flagship MATRIX-3.
