KELO AD is an autonomous disinfection robot that decontaminates public facilities such as hospitals, airports, universities and convention centres with UVC light at 257 nm. Unlike many UVC robots, it is designed to work near people. A camera system with a 360-degree view and an AI algorithm detects humans and turns off the lamps pointing towards them. It disinfects at a nominal 0.1 m/s, covers 360 m per hour and runs for 4 hours with the lamps on, on four 24 V omnidirectional KELO drives.
