DESCRIPTION
KARIS is an Industrial-Robot from GEBHARDT Intralogistics Group. It is built for Intralogistics, Material-Handling, Pallet-Transportation. Key figures: 1500 kg payload.
KARIS is GEBHARDT's modular automated guided vehicle for internal material flow, built from a modular system of vehicles, software, support functions and accessories. It is commissioned by contour-based navigation and teach-in, sees 360 degrees through two diagonally offset laser scanners that both navigate and guard it, adjusts its protective fields to its speed, steers around obstacles and stops at once if anyone enters its protected area. Three design classes cover small load carriers, containers, trays and cartons up to 150 kg (500 x 700 mm) or 600 kg with a double load-handling device (700 x 900 mm), and pallets and wire crates up to 1,500 kg (900 x 1,300 mm), each with active or passive load-handling devices and optional lifts or fork attachments. KARIS links workstations, CNC machines, robot cells, quality stations, storage systems and goods-in and goods-out, connects directly to GEBHARDT container and pallet conveyors, and is tasked and analysed from tablets; with MOSCA strapping machines it also automates end-of-line flows.
