DESCRIPTION

iroi is a Mobile-Robots from Dogugonggan. It is built for Guidance, Inspection, Patrol. Key figures: 100 kg, 480 min runtime.

iroi is Dogugonggan's indoor autonomous security robot, a rounded white robot with an animated face display designed to share space with people in offices, hospitals, schools, libraries, airports and cultural facilities. Besides security patrols it disinfects and guides visitors: built-in UVA and UVC lamps sterilise walls and floors and pause when a person is detected, and a front touchscreen provides information and video calls with a remote manager or guard. A 3D LiDAR scanning more than 50 m around it plus a 2D LiDAR map its surroundings, ultrasonic sensors all round act as a virtual bumper, and five cameras front, back, sides and top work with a fire-detection sensor and a thermal camera. Directional microphones locate screams or intruders approaching from behind. The robot measures 695.5 x 578 x 1,440 mm, weighs 100 kg, patrols at 0.5 m/s with a maximum of 1.2 m/s on two 100 W motors, and runs up to 8 hours on two 1,536 W(h) batteries, recharging in up to 6 hours at its dock.
