DESCRIPTION
Ascento Guard is a Mobile-Robots from Ascento AG. It is built for Inspection, Monitoring, Patrol. Key figures: 30 kg, 480 min runtime, released 2023.
Ascento Guard is Ascento's autonomous outdoor security patrol robot: a two-wheel-drive machine on variable-length legs that moves with agility and stability over any outdoor terrain. It patrols large private properties such as outdoor warehouses, industrial plants and pharma campuses to detect people on the premises, verify perimeter and fence integrity, record whether lights are on, scan for thermal anomalies such as fires, check doors and windows and control parking lots, generating more than 135,000 AI detections a day across the fleet. Its payload carries thermal, RGB and infrared cameras, plus a microphone and speakers for two-way communication; it works in rain, snow and wind, walks at a safe autonomous speed of about 1.4 m/s, runs for more than 8 hours per charge and docks to charge itself for round-the-clock availability. The Ascento app schedules patrols, streams end-to-end encrypted live communication, produces AI-powered reports and integrates with existing video management systems. Ascento offers it as robotics-as-a-service with installation in hours, training and 24/7 support.
