DESCRIPTION

The IRMO M1 Ultra is the top trim of the M1, which IRMO markets as the world's first vision-based knee exoskeleton. A built-in camera and LiDAR scan the ground ahead and the EPA system - Exteroception, Proprioception and Action - adjusts assistance before each step rather than reacting to the wearer's movement alone. What separates the Ultra from the Pro is almost entirely internal. It is the only trim with a night-vision camera, the only one with dual-side camera coverage of 8 m² against the others' single-side 5 m², and the only one rated IP67 rather than IP54. It doubles the RAM to 8 GB and adds titanium alloy to the carbon-fibre and aluminium housing. Motor peak power and peak torque match the Pro at 1000 W and 18 N·m, and battery life is the same 8 hours. The assistance figures are shared across the range: a 45 per cent knee assist and up to a 60 per cent reduction in knee impact, delivered through IRMO's Flexmo dynamically balanced joint, with four modes - Eco, Turbo, Training and Rest - and a companion app. It measures 420 x 102 x 55 mm deployed, folds to 287 x 189 x 55 mm and weighs 2 kg. IRMO aims the M1 at hiking and trekking, commuting, everyday activity, fitness training and load carrying, rather than at clinical rehabilitation.
