DESCRIPTION

Dnsys X1 Hip Exoskeleton is a Consumer-Robot from Dnsys. It is built for Assistance, Helping. Key figures: price $999–$1,999, released 2024.

The DNSYS X1 is a powered hip exoskeleton built around portability: it folds to roughly the footprint of a sheet of A4 paper, which is the difference between a device that lives in a rucksack and one that stays at home. It puts out about 1.2 horsepower through two assistance modes, Eco and Sport, and its AI learns the wearer's gait to personalise power for each motion and adapt across terrain rather than applying a constant push. Base range is 15 km, extended by a battery swap that DNSYS times at two seconds. Three trims are sold: the X1 Lite, the X1 Carbon, and the X1 Carbon Pro. It can also be worn together with the DNSYS Z1 knee exoskeleton as a full-leg system.
