The IOSY1 Head (product type IOSY1) is pi4_robotics' humanoid robotic head for advertising and entertainment. Its built-in camera spots people in its field of view and the head turns towards them - up to +/-90 degrees horizontally, 30 degrees up and 20 degrees down - and once it has focused on someone it shows images, image sequences or videos on its face display, for example winking at passers-by, showing hygiene instructions or advertising daily offers. Instead of automatic tracking it can also run fixed movement sequences combined with display content. Setup and control use a 7-inch touch display, and content is loaded over USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi or micro-SD; the Raspberry Pi-based head can be programmed with its own movement and display sequences. It measures 24 x 16 x 23 cm without neck and weighs about 3 kg, and mounts on the IOSY stand or, with neck adapters, on a table, a Livelmen mannequin or a 30-degree inclined surface.
