DESCRIPTION

Inspector V8 is an Industrial-Robot from Taurob. It is built for Data Collection, Mapping, Inspection. Key figures: 92 kg, 240 min runtime, 1640 mm reach, 4 degrees of freedom.

The Taurob Inspector V8 is an ATEX Zone 1-certified autonomous ground robot for routine inspection and data gathering on oil and gas, power, chemical and mining sites, which Taurob calls the world's toughest data-gathering robot. On patented caterpillar tracks it drives autonomously, recognises and avoids obstacles, crosses gaps, steps, grated floors, gravel and sand, and climbs stairs of up to 45 degrees to work on several levels, while a four-joint arm extending to 1,640 mm lets it view points of interest from a human perspective. Four 2K cameras give a 360-degree view and a 4K camera sits in the arm, with a thermal camera, 3D LiDAR, microphone and payloads such as a gas-imaging camera and multi-gas sensor, so it can read dial gauges and valve positions, check fill levels, analyse pump and fan-belt noise, detect corrosion and gas leaks and support emergency response. It runs 4-hour missions, recharges 20-80% in 45 minutes (100% in 90 minutes) in its ATEX Zone 1 docking station, operates from -20 to +60 C at IP67 with a SIL2/PL-D onboard safety controller, and connects over 4G or Wi-Fi to Taurob's EasyDriveWeb, EasyMission and Admiralty software or third-party platforms through its open API. It measures 107 x 60 x 72.5 cm, weighs 92 kg and drives at 0.45 m/s.
