Taurob Inspector Gasfinder gas-detection robot

DESCRIPTION

Inspector Gasfinder is an Industrial-Robot from Taurob. It is built for Data Collection, Inspection, Monitoring. Key figures: 80 kg, 240 min runtime, 1640 mm reach, 4 degrees of freedom.

The Taurob Inspector Gasfinder is a version of the Inspector robot specialised for gas-leak detection, which Taurob calls the world's first specialised gas-detection robot. It carries a FLIR G300 optical gas imaging camera that visualises hydrocarbon and VOC leaks and a Draeger X-am 8000 sniffer that analyses up to seven toxic or flammable gases; in a TotalEnergies case study it detected methane leaks as small as 2 g/s from 20 m at the TADI test site. Like the Inspector it drives autonomously on patented tracks, climbs stairs up to 45 degrees and uses a four-joint arm reaching 1,640 mm, with four 2K cameras for 360-degree views, a 4K arm camera, thermal camera, 3D LiDAR and microphone. It is certified for ATEX Zone 1 and IP67 with a PL-D safety controller, runs 4 hours and recharges fully in 80 minutes in the ATEX zone, works from -20 to +60 C, and weighs 80 kg at 1,000 x 594 x 766 mm. With Dietsmann, Taurob offers the full service from finding and prioritising leaks to recommending repairs.
