DESCRIPTION
HSR Series is a Scara-Robot from DENSO Robotics. It is built for Assembly, Packaging, Pick-and-place. Key figures: 31 kg, 8 kg payload, 650 mm reach, 4 degrees of freedom, released 2017.
The DENSO HSR Series is a family of high-speed four-axis SCARA robots for fast, precise pick-and-place, launched by DENSO Robotics in September 2017. Advanced vibration control, a newly designed rigid but lightweight arm and better heat dissipation in the base let it accelerate quickly, run continuously at its maximum rated speed and stop precisely, rather than only reaching top speed in short bursts. Three arm lengths are offered - HSR048, HSR055 and HSR065, with reaches of 480, 550 and 650 mm - all carrying up to 8 kg. Standard cycle time with a 2 kg load is 0.28-0.31 s, repeatability is +/-0.01-0.012 mm, and composite speed reaches 7,540-8,850 mm/s depending on model. Z strokes run from 100 to 510 mm (170-450 mm on bellows models), the arms weigh about 31-32 kg, and both floor- and ceiling-mount versions are available, with air piping, signal lines and an optional Ethernet cable routed inside the arm. DENSO aims the HSR at high-speed assembly and at packaging in food, medical-device, pharmaceutical and cosmetics production. In Japan, Cosmo Japan uses two HSR robots with 3D vision to load skewering machines on a food line.
FEATURES
- Four-axis SCARA (J1 + J2 + Z + T), AC servomotors on all axes, absolute encoders
- Models HSR048, HSR055, HSR065: reach 480 / 550 / 650 mm
- Maximum payload 8 kg
- Standard cycle time 0.28-0.31 s (2 kg load)
- Repeatability +/-0.01-0.012 mm (J1+J2), +/-0.01 mm (Z), +/-0.004 deg (T)
- Composite speed 7,540 / 8,000 / 8,850 mm/s
- Z stroke 100, 200, 320 or 510 mm (bellows models 170, 290, 450 mm)
- T axis +/-360 deg at up to 2,500 deg/s
- Vibration control for shorter settling time
- Runs continuously at maximum rated speed thanks to improved base heat dissipation
- Floor- and ceiling-mount models
- Internal air piping (4 lines) and 19 user signal lines
- optional built-in Ethernet
- Approx. 31 / 31.5 / 32 kg
