The FUXTEC FX-RB224 is a boundary-wire robotic lawn mower for lawns of up to 1,000 m2 and the larger model of FUXTEC's newer FX-RB2 generation. It follows the boundary wire to its charging station and then mows the lawn inside it, returning to the dock when its two rain sensors detect rain and resuming at the next work cycle. A 24 cm cutting width and a 3 Ah lithium battery give about one hour of mowing with a 2-hour charge; a replacement battery is still sold. It switches off within 3 seconds if the wire is cut, stops when lifted or tilted beyond 30 degrees for more than 10 seconds, backs away and turns when it bumps into an obstacle, and has a PIN anti-theft code and a red emergency stop. It came with 100 m of boundary wire, extendable to 400 m, 150 pegs and two distance gauges.
