DESCRIPTION
ExoAtlet Bambini is a Medical-Robots from ExoAtlet. It is built for Rehabilitation.
ExoAtlet Bambini is the company's exoskeleton for the neurorehabilitation and habilitation of children and teenagers with walking disorders, intended for patients with cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury and multiple sclerosis who are 115 to 160 cm tall. It reproduces a physiological walking pattern with heel-to-toe foot roll, and combining exoskeleton walking with different kinds of neurophysiological stimulation is meant to speed up how children learn to walk. The project aims to make rehabilitation continuous by using the exoskeleton both in hospital and at home, to build new methods and a complete paediatric neurorehabilitation programme around it, and to raise patients' self-care. It grew out of a 2018 clinical study in which 22 teenagers with cerebral palsy, average age 13, trained in an ExoAtlet adapted for users from 150 cm; clinical trials of Bambini began in 2019, development was supported by a grant from Russia's National Technology Initiative fund, and the device holds a registration certificate in Belarus.
