DESCRIPTION

DUS V9975 is a Mobile-Robots from Demcon unmanned systems. It is built for Security, Surveying, Monitoring.

The DUS V9975 is Demcon unmanned systems' 10-metre, high-endurance uncrewed surface vessel for dual-use missions - offshore security and guarding as well as long-term maritime data collection. It runs autonomously for up to 40 days on station, is built for ocean crossings and high sea states, and can be launched and recovered from other vessels or from a harbour. The self-righting aluminium hull measures 9.90 x 2.30 x 3.75 m with a 0.45 m draught and travels in a 40 ft container. Two 80 kW marine engines on HVO biodiesel (2,000 l of tanks) drive fixed-pitch propellers or optional waterjets to 30 knots, with 11 and 8 knot transit speeds, and two 15 kW bow thrusters give dynamic positioning. Cameras, thermal cameras, lidar, radar and AIS provide 360-degree awareness, and payloads fit in a moonpool, on a 5.00 x 2.00 m deck, on the mast or under tow.
